The days after a huge holiday are the best aren't they? Lazy, comfortable, easy-going: perfect! We've been putting puzzles together like mad and necessity shopping for upcoming adventures. From what I've read, skirts and dresses are must-haves for classes... I wish I could pass on that! Of the few times I've worn either, all of them have been for some sort of party (and I was most likely uncomfortable the whole time). I'm not a dress person. That said, I've been having a hell of a time finding any I'd actually wear! All of them are either way to short or seriously strange. I'm definitely not a fan of popular fashion this season.
Mmmmm, but I can't wait to fry, inside and out, and actually be warm! Oh sun, three weeks until we can rebuild our friendship.

Fall semester has ended and Ghana is only four weeks away! I can't wait to shed my boots and gloves for shorts and sunscreen. I've never been winter's biggest fan, that's for sure. As January 19th gets closer, I'm sure I'll be increasingly nervous about the heat; but for now I'm stuck dreaming of a warmer Christmas (and the piles of snow and slush outside aren't helping). But now I'm wondering which would be worse: frostbite or heat stroke? I guess I'll have to settle for a few blankets and a trough of hot coffee and not think about it!
